By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. General Information
Elaine Brewer-White Ceramics creates and sells handmade ceramic works, including sculptures, functional ware, and custom commissions.
Our pieces are crafted individually, so slight variations in size, colour, and texture are natural and part of the uniqueness of each work.
2. Ordering and payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Taxes will be applied according to the applicable laws and rates for your province, territory, or country.

Full payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, for large commissions).

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
3. shipping and delivery

We ship within Canada and internationally where possible.

Shipping fees, delivery times, and carriers are displayed at checkout and may vary based on destination and product size/weight.

Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, customs, or events beyond our control.
4. returns, exchanges, and cancellations

Due to the handmade nature of our ceramics, all sales are final unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

In the rare event of damage during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the item.

If approved, we will arrange a replacement (if possible) or issue a refund.

Cancellations are only possible if the order has not yet been shipped or, in the case of commissions, if work has not begun.
5. custom orders and commissions

A non-refundable deposit (percentage agreed upon in advance) is required to begin any commission.

Timelines for completion will be agreed upon in writing, but may vary depending on complexity and kiln schedules.

Once work has begun, deposits cannot be refunded.
6. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Elaine Brewer-White Ceramics.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content or products for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. workshop terms (if applicable)
If you register for a workshop or class:

Full payment is required to confirm your spot.

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop will receive a refund minus a 10% administrative fee.

Cancellations within 14 days of the workshop are non-refundable unless we can fill your spot.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, you may choose a refund or a credit towards a future workshop.
8. limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elaine Brewer-White Ceramics is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, including breakage once the item is in your possession.
9. governing law
The laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada govern these Terms and Conditions.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.
