Elaine Brewer-White Ceramics

Elaine Brewer-White is a Canadian ceramic artist renowned for her unique figurative sculpture and pottery pieces. Each piece is themed with a focus of colour and joyful abandon. She uses humour as a way in to gratitude.

 Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and growing up in Calgary, Elaine pursued her passion for art  first at U of C and then at   Emily Carr College of Art and Design, graduating in 1986. Over the years, Elaine has amassed nearly four decades of experience in the ceramic arts, currently her work is in private and public collections  across North America and as far away as New Zealand.​

​​In August 2024, Elaine and family relocated their life and her studio to Summerland, British Columbia.    Her plans include creating new sculptural series as well as continuing with her portrait commission work. As an artist, one does not retire, because the muse demands to be heard!
